The Golf International Friendship Society Golf Sports Club (TGIF Golf Spor Kulübü Derneği – Ankara)
TGIF GOLF Sports Club is a multinational Sports Club, established in 1997 and based in Ankara, which includes both Turkish and foreign diplomats including some ambassadors as well as Turkish and foreign members of the business community.
The goal of TGIF Golf Sports Club is to help increase the knowledge and awareness of golf in Turkey, which is a comparatively new sport in the country but which is increasing rapidly in popularity. Among the fundamental principles of TGIF is to encourage interest and participation in golf in Turkey as an enjoyable and entertaining means to develop and foster friendship between foreign guests in Turkey and the Turkish people.
TGIF arranges 10 tournaments yearly, mainly in Belek, Antalya, Turkey (excluding the months of July and August).
